A Song of Love and Death

A song of life and death

Under the wide starry sky

I dug the grave

Where is my final place to lay.

I’m glad to live

as well I would die

and finally leave you in my last day.

These are the verses

you sang for me

without telling where you belong.

Finally came back the sailor

from a faraway sea

happy to move into a bright home on the Winegrove.

Sotto l’immenso cielo stellato

scavi la fossa

in quel luogo finale dove starò.download.jpg

Son felice di vivere

così pur di morire

ed essere assieme sino alla fine.

Questi i versi

cantasti per me

sebben non dicessi a chi tu appartieni.

Finalmente ritorna il marinaio

dal mare lontano,

felice di ritornare alla sua casa nel vigneto.
