Un grazie to Crazi Classica Mente

We have no reason to exist. We are

only a river, adhering at every shape,

of day and night, Cathedral or cave,

we go over, while the anxiety keeps pressing us.

Mold after mold, we fill without rest,

and no land becomes our one, where no happiness or anxiety,

moves over the way, as a guest,

and is no existing any field or plight for us, don’t have a place where bread will be baked.

And we don’t know either what God’s lay aside for us.

He plays with us, clay in his hands,

deaf and playable, without a cry or laugh,

thousand of times been mixed but never cooked.

If only we could become a stone, just to last!

this is our eternal nostalgia,

with a persisting shiver freezing us,

returning no peace over our journey.

Grazi Classica Mente

 Lamento. Hermann Hesse

Non ci è dato di essere. Noi siamo

nessuna ci diviene patria, gioia o pena,
sempre siamo in cammino, ospiti sempre,
